About Us

After we built our dream home in Central Oregon, we realized that we had a beautiful home but too harsh of growing conditions to accomplish our dream of a lush garden and a healthy & sustainable lifestyle.  So, we packed up our stuff with the aid of our dear friends and family and started over in Grants Pass after we swallowed the town's motto of "It's the Climate!"

We fell-in love with a dilapidated house and overgrown piece of 5 acre land because of the potential we saw.  We had only a vision and passion to guide us to where we are now as our skills in gardening and farming were nil. We knew we wanted to raise our own food and if possible, someday sell our extras. Baptized by fire is how we operate and we jumped in feet first.

Today we have a herd of chickens, pigs, a large garden with a vineyard and small orchard.  Each year we've added in something new.  It's taken lots of  sweat, patience, trial and error, but we think we've arrived to where we first imagined and we couldn't be happier.
